The Plemmirio is the protected marine area in Syracuse that we are lucky enough to have right in front of the Arenella. Visitors can explore these crystal-clear waters with a marine biologist ready to unveil the treasures of the seabed and accompany them in the unique emotion of being immersed in a transparent sea, kissed by the Sicilian sun.
Itinerary
Welcomed by an experienced skipper, you will be guided to discover the Plemmirio Marine Protected Area. The gathering is 15 minutes before the departure time.
Sailing through the crystal-clear ripples of the Plemmirio Protected Marine Area, visitors are guided on this adventure by the expert eye of the marine biologist to discover the flora and fauna that have populated the seabed for centuries, making it of priceless naturalistic value.
Amidst beautiful seabeds of lush green Posidonia and white limestone, the islet of Ognina can be seen in the distance, where occasionally wonderful dolphins can be spotted.
