EXCURSION

DURATION:

from 6.50 am to 9.30 pm

Guided tour starts with the visit of the capital La Valletta, , clear evidence of the glorious centuries-old history of San Giovanni’s knights. Once into the city we’ll see the impressive Parliament, designed by the Italian architect Renzo Piano. Then we move to the San Giovanni’s Co-Cathedral, one of the most important Baroque churches in the world, where are preserved two glorious Caravaggio‘s works. Later you have of course some free time for lunch (it’s not included). After the meal the tour continues to the dell’Upper Barracca gardens, ue to the position there’s an incredible view, overlooking the Great Harbour and the impressive cities fortresses. Last stop of the tour is Mdina,, the old capital of Malta, now a medieval city where we’ll see Sicilian-Norman buildings, Baroque structures and fabulous ramparts.

Recommended clothing: walking shoes, hat and water.
